Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has said that his game plan for tomorrow's match with Liverpool may rely on the FA's delayed decision on the fate of Reds striker Luis Suarez.
Suarez is due to find out if he faces punishment for allegedly using racist language towards Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
If found guilty the Uruguayan could face a ban of three games or more, leaving Martinez unable to predict whether Suarez will appear at the DW Stadium.
"I'm sure if Suarez is not there then it will be Andy Carroll or Dirk Kuyt," Martinez said.
"Liverpool's squad has strength and cover so I don't think they're relying on one man too much.
"Suarez is an outstanding player but if we think we're going to have an easy game because he's not playing we're mistaken."
Wigan are currently 18th in the Premier League with 13 points from 16 games.
