Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet believes that he and his teammates need to put their Capital One Cup exit behind them.
The Merseyside outfit failed to book their spot at Wembley following a 2-1 aggregate defeat to Chelsea in the semi-finals.
The Reds pushed their opponents to extra time on Tuesday evening at Stamford Bridge, but a goal from Branislav Ivanovic was enough to send Liverpool packing.
"Everybody is disappointed when you go out of a competition that you want to win, and especially with the effort and performances that we put in over the two legs," Mignolet told the club's official website.
"We definitely deserved more than we got. But we have to accept it and move on, and make sure that we go again in the other competitions that we're still playing in."
Liverpool remain in contention to win the FA Cup and Europa League this season.
