Liverpool have confirmed that summer signing James Milner will wear the number seven shirt next season.
The England international midfielder, 29, joined the Reds on a free transfer from Manchester City at the start of the month.
Kenny Dalglish, Steve McManaman and Luis Suarez are among the names to have worn seven on their backs for the Merseysiders down the years.
Liverpool start the new Premier League season with a trip to Stoke City on August 8.
