Everton midfielder Bryan Oviedo has stated that his team must improve from their League Cup defeat to Swansea City, ahead of the Merseyside derby this weekend.
The Toffees have got off to a rocky start this season having previously lost their last Premier League fixture 3-2 at home against Crystal Palace.
The Costa Rican midfielder returned from a broken leg he suffered in the FA Cup in January and wants a quick improvement before this Saturday's clash against Liverpool.
"Now we need to go home and look at what happened in the game and be ready for the next game because it is the most important one," the 24-year-old told Everton's official website.
"The most important game now is the derby next Saturday."
Everton make the short journey to face Liverpool this Saturday in the lunchtime kickoff.
