Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is reportedly in line for a new contract at Anfield.
Henderson almost left the club for Fulham in Brendan Rodgers's first transfer window as manager, back in August 2012.
However, the former Sunderland youngster has since blossomed into an important first-team member for the Reds, and was a big part of the squad that finished runners-up in the Premier League last season.
The England international was promoted to vice-captain last month following the departure of Daniel Agger, and the club's hierarchy have entered into discussions with Henderson's representatives over a new deal, according to The Telegraph.
Henderson scored the winning-goal as the Reds beat West Bromwich Albion 2-1 on Saturday.
