Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will reportedly send winger Raheem Sterling back to the Under-21s in a bid to freshen the youngster up.
Sterling, who turned 18 in December, has already made 38 appearances for the Reds, and Rodgers recently admitted that the teenager was starting to feel the strain of playing so many top level club games.
According to The Mirror, Rodgers thinks that a spell back in the age-group team will reinvigorate the former Queens Park Rangers player.
It is believed that the Reds boss is even happy to consider allowing him to play in this summer's Under-21 European Championships.
