Brendan Rodgers has insisted that he has "nothing more to add" regarding Steven Gerrard's Liverpool exit.
The club captain will end his 25-year career on Merseyside when the season comes to a close, before moving to the United States to play for MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy.
In a recent interview, Gerrard revealed that he would have signed a new Liverpool deal had it been offered last summer, which suggested that the Premier League club didn't move fast enough to secure the 34-year-old's future.
"There is nothing more to add," Rodgers told reporters. "Everything has been said on that situation that needs to be said.
"Steven spoke very openly and honestly with his feelings on it. When you see all the interviews you will find it was dealt with. If you want to pick a few words out of what he said and elaborate... he is happy where it is at.
"His concentration is now on football, he has announced where he is going so you have all the information and he has done all his interviews. Now we really have to concentrate on the football and the team and keep the momentum going."
Gerrard also admitted that he started thinking about leaving his boyhood club when Rodgers informed him that he would not be guaranteed a first-team start in every game.
