Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that it is "incredible" that the Reds have not "got anything" from referees so far this season.
Reds striker Luis Suarez has been at the centre of refereeing calls but Rodgers has previously claimed that the Uruguayan has been victimised due to the forward's reputation for diving.
"We haven't got anything this year," said Rodgers. "I have got to be honest, that is incredible.
"The history of [the derby] shows there has been a lot of red cards but I hope that this weekend we might start to get a decision that goes our way for once."
Liverpool will go head to head with Everton in the first Merseyside derby of the season at Goodison Park.
