Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has hailed the "composure" of his captain Steven Gerrard as he scored a late penalty to hand his side victory in the Premier League clash against Fulham.
The Reds came from behind to beat the Cottagers as they fell 2-1 down early in the second half, but strikes from Philippe Coutinho and Gerrard kept them in touch with the top three in the title race.
Rodgers told BBC Sport: "Steven Gerrard is peerless in situations like that. He showed brilliant composure. It was a great result. We've had to show character to come form behind twice. A brilliant victory."
Liverpool are fourth in the Premier League, just four points behind leaders Chelsea.
