Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has praised the performance of youngster Raheem Sterling during his side's 3-1 win over Leverkusen this afternoon.
Sterling, 17, opened the scoring for the Reds inside ten minutes with a fine solo effort, and Rodgers praised the teenager's movement for the goal.
"Raheem is a big, big talent. That movement for the first goal was very good. Shrugged off a defender, the finish was quality," said the former Swansea boss.
Liverpool begin their Premier League campaign against West Bromwich Albion next Saturday.
