Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly due to hold talks with club owner John W Henry over his January transfer budget later this week.
Henry will fly over to Liverpool from Boston, and the Reds' chief will begin discussions with Rodgers and managing director Ian Ayre about how much will be available, according to the Daily Mail.
Rodgers is said to be keen to secure a left-back, midfielder and a striker, although the Northern Irishman is prepared to wait until the summer if his targets are not available this month.
Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League.
