Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has heaped praise on "incredible" teammate Roberto Firmino for his ability on the ball and work-rate off it.
The Brazil international scored 27 goals and contributed a further 17 assists in all competitions last season, as the Reds finished fourth in the Premier League and reached the final of the Champions League.
Mane insists that there is more to Firmino's game than goals, however, as his tireless nature helps the team out all over the pitch.
"He's a hard worker and an incredible player," he told Liverpool's official website. "He can see in his eye and what he's doing all the time on the pitch, working for the team like a defender and he's a striker!
"This is special for him and it makes him a very, very, very important player for us."
Firmino is currently away on World Cup duty with Brazil, while Mane is representing Senegal in Russia.
