New Liverpool signing Xherdan Shaqiri has joined up with his teammates in New Jersey ahead of their International Champions Cup clash with Manchester City on Thursday.
Shaqiri sealed his £13.5m move from relegated Stoke City earlier this month, but was given an extended break by manager Jurgen Klopp due to his involvement in the World Cup this summer.
However, the Switzerland international has now linked up with the rest of the squad and is eligible to feature against City, although Klopp may opt to withhold him until their final match of the United States tour against Manchester United.
Shaqiri could make his competitive debut for Liverpool against West Ham United on August 12.
