Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has claimed that playing in front of 95,000 fans in Australia for a pre-season friendly was "special".
The Reds walked out to the crowd singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' before securing a 2-0 win over Melbourne Victory at the Melbourne Cricket Ground yesterday.
"I think everybody enjoyed that because playing in front of 95,000 people doesn't happen every day, it was a good experience for everyone," Skrtel told LFCTV.
"It was something special. It was only a friendly game but playing in front of 95,000 people is always great."
Meanwhile, manager Brendan Rodgers has claimed that Arsenal need to increase their bid of £40,000,001m in order to prise striker Luis Suarez away from Anfield.
