Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge believes that the club will miss Jamie Carragher's influence when the defender retires.
The former England international will hang up his boots when the season comes to a close and embark on a new career as a TV pundit with Sky Sports.
"He's a very experienced player who's been at this club for many, many years," Sturridge told the club's official website.
"He'll be missed behind the scenes as well as on the football field. He's a great man as well as a great player. We wish him all the best when he moves onto his new job."
Carragher's final game at Anfield will be a clash against relegated Queens Park Rangers on May 19.
