Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge has said that he and Luis Suarez enjoy "great chemistry" both on and off the pitch.
Their partnership flourished almost instantly after the 24-year-old arrived from Chelsea for £12m in January, but a 10-match ban kept the Uruguayan out of action until the Reds' recent League Cup defeat to Manchester United.
However, since his return the strike duo have clicked once more, sharing five of the last six goals, much to the delight of manager Brendan Rodgers.
"He's a nice guy and we have great chemistry on the field, and we get on well off it so it's good," the England international told Life and Times.
"It's easier when you've got somebody like Luis, who can help you share the goals out, and we've also got the likes of Steven Gerrard and Victor Moses who can pitch in.
"So there are goals throughout the team. Hopefully we can continue with the form we've got at the moment."
The Merseyside club are currently level on points with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
