Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has praised the unity that his team showed during this afternoon's 1-0 win over rivals Manchester United.
The England international scored the only goal of the game in the fourth minute. However, the points were only sealed after the home side were forced to defend against a large amount of pressure from visiting United after the restart.
"I think we've been working hard as a team since the start of the season. The manager has been emphasising it's about team, not the individual. We came out here to work for the fans and the team," he told Sky Sports News.
Sturridge has scored all three of Liverpool's goals in the Premier League this season.
