Striker Daniel Sturridge has revealed that it is his "dream" to establish himself as a regular starter for England.
Sturridge has featured four times for the Three Lions since making his international debut in 2011, and the Liverpool forward has insisted that he sees representing his country as an important occasion for both himself and his family.
The 23-year-old told reporters: "It's every player's dream to establish themselves as an England regular.
"Wherever you come from in the world, you want to establish yourself in the national team. It's important for you as a player and for your family.
"To help your country be part of successes is special and hopefully I'll be a part of some sort of success with England in the future."
The former Chelsea attacker has scored five goals in nine appearances for Liverpool since he left Stamford Bridge in January.
