Luis Suarez has dedicated his Player of the Season award to the rest of the Liverpool squad.
The 31-goal hitman was crowned as the Premier League's outstanding player after a superb campaign, and the Uruguayan believes that the award shows how far both he and the team itself have come this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Suarez said: "It's great because you think back to last year and to think I'd win this prize would be amazing for me.
"And for the club as well, because they haven't challenged for [the Premier League] prize for a long time and I think it shows a lot [of progress] and it is good for Liverpool as well."
The Reds eventually finished second, two points behind winners Manchester City.
