Ben Woodburn has made an appearance for Liverpool Under-23s on Sunday, despite currently being out on loan at Sheffield United.
Liverpool allowed Woodburn to pen a season-long deal with the Championship outfit during the summer, but the youngster has struggled for game time with the Blades.
The 19-year-old has played just 13 minutes of second-tier action since the start of September, and that has resulted in the Wales international making a brief return to his parent club.
Woodburn played over an hour as Liverpool's second-string side succumbed to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Derby County on Merseyside.
The forward will now link back up with Sheffield United ahead of this week's Championship fixtures with Stoke City and Wigan Athletic.
