Liverpool will continue their preparations for the 2020-21 campaign with a pre-season clash against Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday afternoon.
The Reds, who will face Arsenal in the Community Shield on August 29, will enter this clash off the back of a 3-0 victory over German outfit Stuttgart on Saturday.
Match preview
Salzburg won their seventh straight Austrian title last season, ultimately finishing 12 points clear of second-placed Rapid Vienna, losing just two of their 32 league matches during a strong campaign.
Die Mozartstadter finished their season at the start of July and have been preparing for the new campaign since August 3, playing four friendlies ahead of their clash with Liverpool.
Salzburg recorded an impressive 4-1 win over French side Nice on August 8 but will enter this match off the back of a 4-1 defeat to Dutch giants Ajax on Saturday.
Jesse Marsch's side faced Liverpool on two occasions during the group stages of last season's Champions League, losing 4-3 at Anfield in October 2019 before a 2-0 home defeat two months later.
There will be over 1,000 supporters in attendance for the match at the Red Bull Arena, with Salzburg due to hold a ballot among their season ticket holders to determine which fans will be allowed to attend.
Liverpool began their preparations for the 2020-21 campaign with a 3-0 win over Stuttgart on Saturday, with Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita and Rhian Brewster on the scoresheet for the Reds.
Unsurprisingly, Jurgen Klopp sent a strong starting XI onto the field, including the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Firmino, while new signing Kostas Tsimikas made his debut off the bench.
Takumi Minamino was a half-time substitute, meanwhile, and the January arrival will be keen to make his mark against his former club on Tuesday, with the 25-year-old potentially earning a start.
Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all injured, but the squad is otherwise in good shape, and Tuesday's match comes immediately before the Community Shield against Arsenal on August 29.
The English champions are then due to begin their 2020-21 Premier League season against Leeds United on September 12, before taking on Chelsea and Arsenal before the end of the month.

Head To Head
As mentioned, these two sides locked horns in the group stages of the 2019-20 Champions League.
Salzburg impressed in their trip to Anfield in early October before suffering a 4-3 defeat, before Liverpool ran out 2-0 winners when they made the trip to Austria in December.
The Austrian Bundesliga champions have since lost a number of key players, though, with the likes of Minamino, Hwang Hee-chan and Erling Braut Haaland seeking pastures new.
We say: Salzburg 1-2 Liverpool
Salzburg will fancy their chances of causing Liverpool some problems and will be keen to pick up a positive result against the English champions. We are expecting a tight match at the Red Bull Arena but expect Klopp's side to put their second pre-season victory on the board.
