Christian Benteke marked his Liverpool debut with his first goal for the club as the Reds signed off their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 win over Swindon Town.
The Reds started the game on the front foot as Roberto Firmino raided down the left and cut the ball back for Benteke, but his effort was well saved by Lawrence Vigouroux.
Joao Carlos Teixeira came close to breaking the deadlock when he lined up a curling effort from the edge of the box, but his strike went wide of the post.
Liverpool threatened again when Emre Can surged towards the penalty area and laid the ball into the path of Lazar Markovic, who sent his powerful strike wide of the target.
Firmino caused further problems for Swindon as he weaved his way past three players before striking at goal from 25 yards, but his strike failed to trouble Vigouroux.
In the second half, Benteke opened his account for Liverpool when he latched on to Teixeira's flick and then controlled the ball, before dispatching his effort on the volley into the net from 20 yards.
The Belgian almost added a second goal when Markovic hit a low ball across the face of goal, but the striker failed to hit the target from close range.
Swindon found an equaliser when Jonathan Obika was afforded space and time outside the box to pick his spot and he curled his effort into the bottom corner.
Sheyi Ojo thought he had put the visitors ahead for a second time when he powered a low strike into the bottom corner, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
However, two minutes before time, Ojo did find the net when his low drive beat the outstretched hand of Vigouroux to secure the victory for the Reds.
