AC Milan are reportedly interested in securing a deal for Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren during the summer transfer window.
Lovren only played a bit-part role for the Champions League winners during the most recent campaign, making a total of 17 appearances in all competitions.
The Croatia international is still regarded as a key member of the squad by manager Jurgen Klopp, although the 30-year-old faces the prospect of being fourth-choice centre-back next season.
However, Sky Sports News claims that AC Milan are ready to provide Lovren with the opportunity of a fresh challenge at San Siro.
The report suggests that Milan will wait until a replacement has been named for outgoing boss Gennaro Gattuso before making a formal approach.
Lovren has two years remaining on his contract at Anfield.
