Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is said to be on the verge of signing a new lucrative long-term contract at the club.
The 27-year-old, who was sent off in the Reds' 3-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, has been the subject of reported interest from Manchester City and Barcelona this summer.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool value Agger at £25m and are willing to offer him a weekly wage of £80,000 per week.
Agger has made 120 Premier League appearances for the Anfield club since his £5.8m arrival from Brondby in January 2006.
His current contract expires in June 2014.
