Sevilla striker Luis Alberto has expressed his 'excitement' about starting a new challenge at Liverpool.
The 20-year-old is expected to complete a move to Anfield this week pending a medical in a reported £6.8m deal.
"I'm very excited, going to a club like Liverpool, a new culture, a new language, I have to adapt quickly, but I'm very excited ahead of this great step," Alberto told Diario de Sevilla.
"There are many Spanish players in England and it's going pretty well for them. Seeing players doing well there motivates me more."
Alberto could be manager Brendan Rodgers's official second signing of the summer following the acquisition of Kolo Toure from Manchester City, while Iago Aspas's switch from Celta Vigo is yet to be completed.
