Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani's agent has claimed that the Italian is on the verge of moving to Fiorentina on a season-long loan after the two clubs reached an agreement.
Franco Zavaglia revealed that the deal now depends on the player agreeing personal terms with the Serie A club.
"The agreement between Fiorentina and Alberto has not yet been reached," Zavaglia told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"If we talk of an agreement, that was only reached between the two clubs, because Fiorentina did not come to any decision with us."
Aquilani, who spent last season on loan at Juventus, has failed to establish himself at Anfield and has only made 28 appearances since joining for £17m two years ago.
