Mario Balotelli has finalised his switch from AC Milan to Liverpool.
The 24-year-old has been at the club's Melwood training base all day, where he has undergone a medical and discussed personal terms.
The move has now been confirmed, with the 24-year-old becoming Brendan Rodgers's ninth signing of the summer.
"I'm very happy. We've been talking about coming here and now I'm happy to be here. Liverpool are one of the best teams here in England and the football is very good here," he told the club's official website. "It's a great team with young players, and that's why I came here."
It has been reported that Balotelli, who will wear the number 45 shirt at Anfield, has cost Liverpool £16m.
