Barcelona have set aside £120m to make a move for Liverpool attacker Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.
The Blaugrana have been left reeling from the departure of the talismanic Neymar, who left Camp Nou for Paris Saint-Germain last week.
However, the Catalans are now in a position to spend big on a replacement after PSG paid a world-record £200m transfer fee to recruit the Brazil international.
Coutinho has been linked with Barca all summer and, according to the Daily Star, the La Liga giants will test Liverpool's resolve with the triple-figure bid in the coming days.
The 25-year-old, a teammate of Neymar's at international level, only signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool earlier this year, contracting him at Anfield until 2022.
