West Ham United have reportedly lined up Christian Benteke as one of their transfer targets this summer.
The Liverpool striker has failed to establish himself in the first team under Jurgen Klopp despite a big-money summer move, and recent reports have suggested that the Reds will look to offload the Belgian when the transfer window reopens.
West Ham are understood to be looking at a number of attacking options, and Sky Sports News reports that Benteke has caught their eye along with Marseille's Michy Batshuayi and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
The report goes on to claim that the Hammers would be willing to spend up to £40m to land one of those players should they secure European football.
Batshuayi and Lacazette in particular have drawn a lot of interest so far this season, but West Ham hope that their move to the Olympic Stadium will make them an attractive proposition for players.
The Hammers have also recently been linked with a move for Roma forward Edin Dzeko.
