Fabio Borini's agent has downplayed reports that the Liverpool striker could be heading for Fiorentina.
Marco de Marchi insisted that his client is committed to the Reds, suggesting that he will fight for his place next season.
"I've heard the Fiorentina rumours, but there has been no direct contact," he told TMW.
"Fiorentina are a club on the launch pad, they have laid the groundwork for an important project by signing great players and results will soon arrive.
"However, Borini has married the Liverpool project and they are one of the most important clubs in the world."
Borini has scored just one goal in 16 appearances for Liverpool, with first-team opportunities having been restricted by injury setbacks.
