Liverpool midfielder Emre Can will reportedly not leave the club this month and is said to be actively engaged in talks over a new deal.
The 23-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to talk to foreign clubs about a switch away from Anfield this month, with Serie A giants Juventus said to be heavily interested in his signature.
According to Sky Deutschland, however, the German remains in negotiations with the Reds over fresh terms and is open to the idea of signing a new contract despite Juve's interest.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be adamant that Can will not be allowed to depart the club this month as he is already resigned to losing star attacker Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
Can has been on Merseyside since summer 2014 and has since made more than 150 competitive appearances for the side.
