Cardiff City are reportedly the frontrunners for the signature of Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic, who has been linked with a temporary move away from Anfield.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen for the 21-year-old, who has made just six appearances this term, to gain experience elsewhere before pushing for a spot in the first team.
According to The Mirror, the Bluebirds have beaten fellow Championship clubs Middlesbrough and Aston Villa to talks with the Serbian international, and are allegedly close to agreeing a loan deal.
Cardiff, who are third in the league table, are pushing for promotion to the Premier League, with manager Neil Warnock interested in providing support for his team's efforts.
Grujic won the Serbian league title with former employers Red Star Belgrade before joining Liverpool for £5.1m two years ago.
