Villarreal forward Samuel Chukwueze has played down suggestions that he could leave the Yellow Submarine in this summer's transfer window.
The 20-year-old scored 10 times in 47 appearances for his Spanish club during the 2018-19 campaign, having broken into the first team towards the start of the season.
Liverpool have been credited with an interest in the attacker, who made his Nigeria debut in November 2018. However, Chukwueze has insisted that there have been no "concrete" talks with any other club.
"I am aware that there are several interested teams, but I am still a Villarreal player and there is nothing concrete," Marca quotes Chukwueze as saying.
"It's good that I am linked to great clubs, because that shows that hard work has its reward. I do not want to rush to go to another club. But if I ever had to leave, I should make sure I go to a club where I'm going to play."
Chukwueze, who largely operated as a right winger during the 2018-19 campaign, has a contract at the Estadio de la Ceramica until the summer of 2023.
