Joe Cole has refused to rule out a return to Anfield, despite his recent run of form with French side Lille.
The former Chelsea man joined the French champions on a season-long loan this summer after struggling at Liverpool last season. However, while he has found form in Ligue 1, Cole insists that he is not certain what the future will hold.
"Who knows what will happen? I might get the chance to change that round," he told Sky Sports News about a possible return to the Reds.
"At the moment I am happy here. I am playing and I am playing well, so it is all going good. If it continues going like this, it would be the logical option [to stay].
"The football's gone quite well, considering I didn't play for so long at Liverpool, but I've had a good start and I'm only going to improve. I am edging closer to what I was at my peak at Chelsea."
Lille are currently in third place in the French league, four points adrift of leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
