Borussia Dortmund are reportedly plotting a summer swoop to take back Mario Gotze from Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich.
Bayern poached Gotze from Dortmund in the summer of 2013 and the playmaker played a key role in his first two seasons, making a total of 59 league appearances and scoring the winning goal in the 2014 World Cup.
However, he has started just five league games under Pep Guardiola this term and his struggles to nail down a first-team place have alerted Dortmund, according to German publication Bild.
Former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is also said to be keen on signing the playmaker for Liverpool at the end of the season.
