Borussia Dortmund have reportedly indicated that they remain keen to secure the signing of Liverpool forward Divock Origi.
The Belgium international is back at Anfield after a disappointing loan spell with Wolfsburg, but the 23-year-old is free to leave the Merseyside giants before the end of August.
Dortmund have so far failed to reach an agreement with Liverpool, but according to ESPN, the German side are still looking to strike a deal with the Premier League club.
The report claims that Dortmund would prefer a loan switch with the possibility of a permanent transfer, but Liverpool are looking for an outright sale in the region of £25m.
Origi has less than 12 months remaining on his contract, leaving Liverpool in a position where they may have to reach a compromise with any interested clubs.
