Burnley manager Sean Dyche does not believe that Danny Ings should leave the Premier League at the end of the season.
The England Under-21 international, who is out of contract at Turf Moor in the summer, has recently been linked with David Moyes's Real Sociedad.
However, were he to leave the Clarets, Dyche feels that the striker's career would best be served by remaining in England.
"I would be very surprised if that was the path he chooses to go down. I think we all know his development needs to continue and that's in the Premier League," he told Sky Sports News.
"The middle of La Liga is no use for a young player. I think he's better than that. I think he's top end of the Premier League."
Ings, 22, has scored nine goals for Burnley so far this season and is reportedly a target for Liverpool.
