The father of Yevhen Konoplyanka has conceded that his son has an offer to join an English club, believed to be Liverpool.
Reports earlier today claimed that Brendan Rodgers had turned his attention to the Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger, having lost out to Chelsea for Egyptian international Mohamed Salah.
While Oleg Konoplyanka refused to identify which team was interested in his offspring's services, he did reveal that he could complete the transfer before Friday's deadline passes.
"I do not want to say specifically but the information about a transfer to the English club is true. He can change clubs later this week. We do not consider offers from Ukraine," numerous reports have quoted Konoplyanka senior as saying.
It has been claimed that Liverpool may have to pay around £20m to land the 24-year-old.
