Inter Milan have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign Barcelona right-back Aleix Vidal this summer.
The 28-year-old, who started just four La Liga games last term, had been tipped to leave Camp Nou during the winter window, but no move occurred.
Liverpool are thought to be keen on the Spain international, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has been in touch with Vidal's representatives.
The report states that the Nerazzurri are looking to cover the loss of Joao Cancelo, who has returned to parent club Valencia, and want to negotiate a loan deal for Vidal with an option to buy.
Manchester United were also thought to be monitoring Vidal, but any interest in the former Sevilla player is likely to have cooled after the signing of Diogo Dalot from Porto.
