Inter Milan are reportedly considering whether to make an approach for Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
Despite being a key member of Jurgen Klopp's squad, Wijnaldum has just over six months remaining on his contract at Anfield.
Barcelona, who are managed by the player's former national team boss Ronald Koeman, are known to be keen on the 30-year-old.
However, according to Tuttomercatoweb, Inter are also interested in securing a deal for Wijnaldum at some point during 2021.
While the Netherlands international can speak to foreign clubs in January regarding a pre-contract agreement, the report suggests that Inter may bid €15m (£13.6m) in the coming weeks.
Liverpool will almost certainly reject any cash bids for Wijnaldum in the hope that he eventually pens fresh terms on Merseyside.
