Juventus are reportedly set to increase their £19.5m bid for Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino.
Although Dusan Vlahovic joined Juventus in January, the Italian giants are keen to strengthen their forward line after Alvaro Morata returned to Atletico Madrid following the conclusion of his loan spell.
The Old Lady have reportedly identified Firmino as a potential target, and they have signalled their intent by presenting an offer to Liverpool.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, Juventus are considering increasing their bid after their £19.5m bid was met with doubts by the Liverpool hierarchy.
Firmino currently has a year left to run on his current contract, while the addition of Luis Diaz in January and the recent arrival of Darwin Nunez could see the Brazilian face competition for a place in the side.
Despite Juventus showing an interest in Firmino, the report indicates Liverpool are not prepared to sell the Brazil international this summer. body check tags ::
