Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has suggested that he remains optimistic about Mohamed Salah eventually signing a new contract.
Over the weekend, it was claimed that the Egypt international was likely to pen a new long-term deal at Anfield, keeping him on Merseyside for the best years of his career.
While an official announcement does not appear imminent, Salah has indicated that he has no concerns about Salah only having 15 months remaining on his existing terms.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Klopp said: "I'm happy with it because there's nothing new to say - that's good.
"The decisive parties are talking to each other and that's all I need."
Barcelona are said to be monitoring the situation ahead of a potential £50m approach for the 29-year-old.
