Liverpool manager Jurgen klopp has all but ruled out the possibility of Dominic Solanke leaving the club this summer.
The striker has been linked with a loan move to Rangers, where former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has already brought in fellow Reds alumni in Jon Flanagan, Ovie Ejaria and Ryan Kent.
Solanke has fallen behind Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge in the pecking order at Anfield, but Klopp insists that no deal is close to take the 20-year-old away from Anfield.
"I hear for the first time now. So it doesn't look like it is close to happening," Klopp told The Express.
Solanke has made 27 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions, scoring one goal.
