Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has claimed that there has been no progress on the possible departure of midfielder Joe Allen.
The Welshman, who is currently competing for Team GB at the London Olympics, has been heavily tipped to join Liverpool under former Swans boss Brendan Rodgers.
"There is no update. He is with the GB team at the Olympics so I have not had the opportunity to talk to him since I arrived," Wales Online quotes Laudrup as saying.
"There is nothing concrete. I can read the papers talking about the interest. It's normal there is interest because the new manager of Liverpool is the ex-manager of Swansea.
"We know he is a very good player, but I can assure you there's nothing concrete at this moment. Let's see what happens. I can't really tell you anything else for the time being."
There is believed to be a clause in Allen's contract that he can leave the club if rival outfits offer £15m for the 22-year-old.
