Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup has revealed that he is 'unsure' whether Liverpool target Joe Allen will remain with the Welsh club.
It has been reported that Liverpool are preparing an £8m bid for the 22-year-old, and Laudrup has refused to dampen the speculation.
"You can't say yes or no without having spoken to the player. You have to know always what does the player want," he told Sky Sports News.
"If he says 'No I want to stay, I'm so happy here' then he stays. But of course if we get a very big offer and the player wants to leave, what means is there to keep him here? So the most important thing is always the player.
"He's a guy from here and very respected but let's talk to him. Of course, we can't do it now because he's with the Olympic squad so we'll have to wait. Until now there is nothing concrete but if there does come an important offer then we will have to talk to the player."
Allen is currently on Olympic duty with Team GB.
