Lazio have reportedly re-established contact with Liverpool over a deal for forward Fabio Borini.
It had been thought that the Serie A side had ended their interest in the Italian, who made just 18 appearances for Brendan Rodgers's side last season.
However, Italian publication Il Messaggero reports that Lazio have reached out to Liverpool again in a bid to bring Borini to the Stadio Olimpico.
Borini, who has not traveled with the club for their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia, joined Liverpool from Roma in 2012, before spending the 2013-14 campaign on loan with Sunderland.
