Leeds United will reportedly not allow attacker Raphinha to seek pastures new until the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup.
The former Rennes man has enjoyed another eye-catching season under Marcelo Bielsa with eight goals and two assists in 21 Premier League matches in 2021-22.
Raphinha recently played down talk of an exit from Elland Road, but he is now reported to have snubbed contract talks with Leeds amid interest from Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
A summer move may be out of the question, though, as The Mirror claims that Leeds are set to rebuff any offers for the Brazil international until the next January transfer window.
The report claims that the Whites are hopeful of Raphinha's value increasing drastically with stellar showings at the Qatar World Cup, and Leeds remain relaxed about the situation on the whole.
The 25-year-old now has 14 goals and 11 assists to his name from 53 games in a Leeds shirt and remains under contract at Elland Road until 2024.
Raphinha has also established himself as a regular fixture for Brazil over the past few months, currently sitting on three goals and two assists from seven World Cup Qualifying appearances. body check tags ::
