Fulham have reportedly accepted a bid from Liverpool for American forward Clint Dempsey.
The 29-year-old, who has 12 months remaining on his current contract at Craven Cottage, had been rumoured to be involved in a potential swap deal involving Reds target man Andy Carroll.
However, Fulham are no longer believed to be in contention for Carroll's signature and, according to the Daily Mail, Liverpool's successful bid was a straight cash offer of £10m.
Dempsey is expected to complete his move to Anfield later this week.
