Norwegian side Start's young midfielder Kristoffer Ajer is being monitored by Premier League duo Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.
The 17-year-old is one of Norway's brightest talents, and in April became the youngest captain in the history of the Tippeligaen when he skippered his side against Lillestrom.
Liverpool and Spurs have both been watching Ajer as they consider a move for the teenager, but they face competition for his signature from Roma and Hertha Berlin, reports Norwegian online newspaper Nettavisen.
Despite his age, Ajer is 6'5" tall and has scored five goals in 24 appearances for Start this season.
