Liverpool have reportedly made an offer to sign Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is currently in the process of strengthening his first-team squad and although the main focus appears to be on the final third, there is seemingly a desire to improve at the back.
According to Turkish outlet Aksam, Liverpool have decided to lodge a bid in the region of £13m for Vida, who is currently representing Croatia at the World Cup.
The 29-year-old - who can play across the defence - is only six months into a long-term deal with Besiktas but a summer sale is not out of the question.
Everton, Leicester City and Watford have also been linked with Vida, who has won 62 caps for his country.
